Brownhills - New Name

Brownhills gets a rebrand!

The Co-operative Academy at Brownhills was renamed The Co-operative Academy of Stoke-on-Trent as of September 10th 2012. Brownhills was built in 1922 and began its life as an all girls school in 1929.

Since 1970 it has been a Comprehensive High School for boys and girls. Since then, thousands of pupils, parents and teachers have passed through the doors. Now, as the school made the move to the new £23 million Academy Building, on the old sports field site, there comes a change of name and The Co-operative Academy of Stoke-on-Trent begins to make its own new history. We would like to welcome you to be a part of that.
