On 30th March, a group of Year 10 and 11 students visited Gentleshaws Wildlife Centre in Eccleshall as part of their ASDAN course. During the visit, the students had the opportunity to learn about and handle some of the animals at the centre, including reptiles, birds of prey, a skunk and a wolfdog. All students really enjoyed the day and were able to complete their ASDAN unit.
On 25th April, the year 11 ASDAN group visited the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery in Hanley in order to complete a unit for their course. During the visit the students learnt about the history of Stoke-on-Trent and viewed artefacts linked to the city. They especially enjoyed seeing the Spitfire exhibited.
