Key Stage 3

All our students follow a varied curriculum covering the whole range of specialisms. They work through exciting and modern projects designed to stimulate and cover the national curriculum requirements. We work closely with the Maths and Science departments to deliver the Science Technology, Maths and Engineering (STEM) agenda.

Key Stage 4

At the Academy we offer a variety of GCSE and V cert courses for our year 10 and 11 students. These include…

GCSE AQA Design & Technology in

  • Product Design Technology
  • Child Development

V CERTS: NCFE Level 2 Certificate in

  • Engineering Studies

CREATIVE STUDIES: CRAFT – Electronics & Textiles

A good qualification in either GCSE or V Cert gives our students the opportunity to follow a wide variety of courses when they leave the academy. It will also provide a strong foundation for other work-based training opportunities such as apprenticeships.
