Academy Performance Data

More than 300 extra pupils achieved good passes in English and maths last summer as GCSE results shot up across the area. The Co-operative Academy of Stoke-On-Trent played an important part in this success. Please download the file below to read more. 

The Co-operative Academy's results from 2016 are shown below. The progress that Academy students make from the time that they enter to the time they leave puts the Academy in the top 1/3rd of schools and academies in the country. (Value Added score – Department for Education / RAISE online)

The latest 2016 results are below.

  • En+Ma A* to C (Basics Measure) = 46.2% (Up 3.1% on last year)
  • Progress 8 = +0.14 (Up 0.21 on last year)
  • Attainment 8 = 4.49 (Up 0.44 on last year)
  • English A* to C 71.2% (Up 8.4% on last year)
  • Maths A* to C = 49.2% (Up 1.4% on last year)
  • % Achieving Ebacc Qualification = 7.6% (Up 3.2% on last year)
  • English Expected Progress = 85.1% (Up 4.8% on last year) More than Expected Progress = 43.8% (Up 19.4% on last year)
  • Maths Expected Progress = 60.7% (Up 15.5% on last year) More than Expected Progress = 18% (Up 3.7% on last year)

The Academy was very pleased with the GCSE results this year.  In every major indictor the results improved and this was against a national picture of decline.

2015 Results

  • 5 A*-C including English and Maths: 43.1% (equalling last year’s record results)
  • English 3 levels of progress: 80% (putting us in the top 20% of similar schools nationally)
  • Maths 3 levels of progress: 45%
  • English 4 levels of progress: 24%
  • Maths 4 levels of progress: 14%
  • English A*-C: 63%
  • Maths A*-C: 48%
  • EBacc: 4.4%
